RESILIENCY and POSITIVE AGING 

While aging is often something we think of in a negative way, this discussion will explore the concept of resiliency in older adults: age 65+.  We will address the physical, mental, and social characteristics of resiliency as well as offer an alternate lens with which to view aging.

Stacey Maines is the Director of Care Management Services for Generations Counseling and Care Management, an agency specializing in working with seniors as well as adults with disabilities. For over 20 years, Stacey has used her passion for advocacy and facilitating communication within families along with her strong clinical training to focus on the needs of our seniors and their families. She has worked in all aspects of long term care including Skilled nursing, Assisted living, Continue Care communities, hospice, and home care.
