People with disabilities have unique needs to be able to age well.  Understanding some of the key issues can help us better support clients with disabilities. Attendees will get an overview of disability legislation, policies and regulations that can impact aging clients with disabilities. We will gain insights into how stigma, stereotype, discrimination and limited access to healthcare impact the aging disabled population and turn barriers and perceived deficits into assets.
